The Westbank Lions Club, in partnership with BC Housing, operates Westbank Lions Manor, a housing complex for seniors of limited means, at 3715 Gellatly Road in Westbank. This professionally managed and restful facility provides housing for forty-four individuals and features a full range of services including meeting and games rooms, exercise facilities and a quiet and secure location.

Breaking News

Part of Lions Manor to be torn down

Due to negligence and poor contruction a portion of the assisted living section of Lions Manor was demolished in early March, 2012. This section of the building, completed in 2005 at a cost of $6.5 million, had been constructed on the side of a hill bordering a protected wetland. Legal action by BC Housing naming various contractors and engineers has been institued.
